Running Accomplishments:

 I started running last year, my first race was December 2008. It was my first 5k. In the past year I have done 5k's, a 5 miler, 10k, 10 miler and my first half marathon. I started running so I could keep off the weight I had lost (70 pounds). And in running, I have found solace, peace, and friendships.

Short-Term Running Goals:

 My goals for 2010 are:

*2150 total miles

*finish a walking/jogging marathon

*a 2 hour half marathon

Long-Term Running Goals:

  I want to take each year as it comes.

2009 goal was just to run. I did make the goal of 2000 miles. It was my first year running. I will update my total on the 31st of January.

 

Personal:

 This past year has been frought with difficulty, trials, and stress. But it has also been a blessing. I learned what I can do, what my body can do, and how to make myself what I want to be.

My three kids have been a wonderful inspiration, and my husband, not matter how we fuss, fit or fight, is ultimately my best friend.

took a few days off, this chest cold is kicking my butt.

tried a workout today, but I am feeling kinda weak, so I only did a half workout. may try to do the other half this afternoon. just feeling weak.

still feeling weak...also my period is late....arg...a minor annoyance, but an annnoyance indeed!

so tired of feeling sick....my period STILL hasn't shown up, and if it's not here by tomorrow night, we are doing a pregnancy test.  nervous...good and bad....

did quarter mile incline intervals. seems easier to go by the quarter mile vs time on a treadmill....hate treadmill running.

going to the store tonight...pregnancy test time....nervous, excited...*fingers crossed*

good new years day run! gotta start the year with a good work out. getting ready to do a 6 mile walk too! love working out!

oh, and I can adjust my fitness goals for the year...not pregnant. that's ok...i will get over it.
