Running Accomplishments:

I started running last year, my first race was December 2008. It was my first 5k. In the past year I have done 5k's, a 5 miler, 10k, 10 miler and my first half marathon. I started running so I could keep off the weight I had lost (70 pounds). And in running, I have found solace, peace, and friendships.

Short-Term Running Goals:

 My goals for 2010 are:

*2150 total miles

*finish a walking/jogging marathon

*a 2 hour half marathon

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to take each year as it comes.

2009 goal was just to run. I did make the goal of 2000 miles. It was my first year running. I will update my total on the 31st of January.

Personal:

This past year has been frought with difficulty, trials, and stress. But it has also been a blessing. I learned what I can do, what my body can do, and how to make myself what I want to be.

My three kids have been a wonderful inspiration, and my husband, not matter how we fuss, fit or fight, is ultimately my best friend.

Did the first 'real' run of my first 'real' workout since my toe injury and the half marathon. felt good. my toe is achy, but as long as I keep it taped up, it doesn't bother me too much.

My boys did the Big House Big Heart 5k race yesterday. They did great! 12,000 runners, one of the biggest charity races in this area. They were awesome!

We may be moving!  We found a wonderful house in a great neighborhood.  Has everything we want, and in a much better area. DH and I were talking about this neighborhood yesterday, and then suddenly we found a house in that exact neighborhood, in our price range, and has room for our RV, truck and kids and dogs.  We are looking at it tonight and tomorrow. I google earth'd it, and it is PERFECT. Short of the inside being a dump, we are gonna take it!  Excited! Great schools, great neighborhood, and in the heart of Ann Arbor, close to the U of M stadium! Can't wait!

did a second run. Need to work back up to 13-15 miles a day. But an hour and a half of running every day isn't too bad!  gonna get my mojo back....I know I will!
